Space is an integral part of our everyday lives on Earth. This report aims to contribute to the growing field of space policy by examining the concept of "space threats" and its implications for global governance. It examines different types of threats to space systems, and what these threats would mean for outer space, and for the Earth. It also examines: various perspectives of what constitutes a threat to space systems; space security in an international context; and sustainable uses of space.
