In this MPT, I propose a holistic approach to studying men and fathers in Uganda, focusing on their everyday experiences within their families while remaining attentive to the 'pleasant,' 'boring,' and 'mundane' aspects of fatherhood. I will use the following research question: How do Ugandan men prepare themselves for fatherhood, become fathers, 'do fathering' and interact with societal norms and expectations of 'good Ugandan fatherhood?
