Abstract
The study explores the job search behaviours of university graduates focusing on their labour market and personal aspirations. It explores transitional processes in job search and introduces a novel concept, the moral economy of job search in which preferences and strategies prioritise social value, specifically "relevance," over economic productivity. In Accra and Takoradi, Ghana, data will be gathered through interviews and participant observation. This is vital due to global "jobless" growth.
