Abstract
This report examines the roles, responsibilities, and risks presented by the security sector in responding to climate-related hazards in internal conflicts in three selected regions: Colombia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Assam, India. It includes a detailed analysis of the local contexts, national strategies, risks of fragility, and specific recommendations for each region studied. Additionally, the report provides a cross-cutting analysis to identify common lessons and global recommendations for improving the security sector's response to climate-related hazards.
