In this Chapter, the methodology to confirm the existence of general principles of law is analysed and general principles of law regarding corporate obligations are explored. A particular focus will be given to the structure of how the violation of fundamental rights is addressed in the domestic legal system. Through this analogy, a legal formula by which corporations are obliged to comply with international human rights norms under relevant general principles of law will be suggested.
