My project addresses the question how transnational flows of money and people shape deforestation politics by state and market in the Brazilian Amazon from 1990 to 2020? It combines comparative historical analysis, in-depth interviews, and grant-level data in a multi-method research design. This MPT details the monograph, its methods, and theoretical contribution.
