The upcoming thesis will address the use of logical deductions and vocabulary as norm-creating tools in international law and their possible indication of a deeper structure of argumentation. The benefit of identifying the bias behind the resort to deductions include a better understanding of their effectiveness in international law and may constitute a step toward the elaboration of a social theory.
