Abstract

This MPT focuses on the different kinds of control and accountability mechanisms available in international law, including fact-findings, inquiries, guarantees, inspections, and administrative processes that are a part of international organizations. By introducing and discussing the essential features of these mechanisms, this paper puts them into their respective organizational and subject-matter context and attempts to draw upon the differences and similarities between them.
