This paper investigates how an elimination of schooling fees for secondary education impacts educational and labour market outcomes in Uganda. Exploiting district and cohort variation in the exposure to the program, I demonstrate that schooling years increase by approximately 0.70 years for rural students, but do not find structural changes regarding employment outcomes.
