Abstract
This proposal aims to study water sources and subsequently water management projects implemented or proposed in Palestine in the period between 1917 and 1948. This study analyzes the impact of the water projects on the political and social life, as well as their impact on agriculture, economy, public health and sanitation. It is also an attempt to mark the various actors involved and their various motives. This study takes circulation of scientific and technical knowledge on water engineering as means to pin the water management projects in Palestine in a broader colonial context
