Abstract

My research looks at ideas of progress and the planning of a progressive world civilization in the early 20th century. It centres on an international collective around Rudolf Broda and its publications, active 1907-1932, whose aim it was to disseminate progressive ideas and organize global progress. Using the digital humanities tool nodegoat, I chrono-spatially map the involved networks of persons, institutions, publications, reform movements, and the clusters of ideas they discussed.
