Using a Tunisian panel data we define a cumulative educational production function with schooling and family inputs, and integrating information about early child development. This specification allows to get an unbiased and consistent estimation of the different determinants of school achievement and their persistence over time. We estimate our dynamic model using a system-GMM specification for the average achievement of students each year, as well as for their achievements in different topics.
