Abstract

From the use of online platforms to exacerbate ethnic conflicts to the use of facial recognition technology to persecute dissidents, the threats to human rights posed by digital technologies are varied and numerous. In this context, it is essential that digital governance models go beyond data protection and adopt a holistic approach to human rights protection.
