Abstract

Migrants have been particularly hard hit by the Covid-19 crisis, the first to lose their jobs or be sent home. When the “migrant” has been visible during the crisis, he/she has most often been seen as a potential vector of disease. This article examines how migrants across the world have been affected by the pandemic and how Covid-19 tends to exacerbate existing asymmetries.
