Abstract

"The text debates the meanings of the of the idiom "macumba", a term that may symbolize a myriad of practices and opinions. My plan is to ethnographically move between multiple social spheres following the main thread of the "macumba"myth with the aim of understanding how different groups and individuals manage their conflicting interests"
