This Preliminary Thesis explores the art activist group tolak reklamasi (Bali). This environmentally engaged, artivist group emerged in response to the commercial tourism reclamation project in Bali's Benoa Bay. Their modus operandi being the arts, this paper sounds the field for further research on how and when the group emerged, whom and what it works against, and with which imagery.
