Opportunities for Institutional Innovation in Multilevel Governance

Institutional innovation is envisaged as a key element to help foster new practices and technologies to tackle global environmental challenges. The analysis may provide evidences on the usefulness and adequacy of MLG in comparison to other governance modes, such as intergovernmental ones.
