This study discusses the historical experiences, population distribution, and ethnic identity of Korean minority. It chooses two distinct aspects of the Korean minority to explain its characteristics in education and language

A survey on the present situation and changing aspects of ethnic education and language policy is done. The conclusion attempts to answer some basic questions on Chinese nationalities policy and the Korean minority in China : the motives and goals of Chinese policy toward her national minorities and Korean minority in particular ; and the future of Koreans in China
