Abstract

Global climatic changes provoke new ways of imagining and appropriating landuse which have implications on existing social order. This research problematizes the reconfiguration of societies and social relations [within and between human and the environment] by engaging with the idea that socialites are guided by imaginations of how to value and valuate the material world, as well as the circulation of ideas [around construction of landscapes] that govern actions to mitigate an uncertain future.
