Abstract

This project tries to understand the "aspirations" of secondary school students, engaged as participants in a skills training programme, namely Additional Skill Acquisition Programme [ASAP], organized in government schools and colleges in the state of Kerala, India. Anthropological studies of policy have drawn out linkages between policies and subjectivities. Using this insight, through the subjectivities produced via ASAP, I aim to understand their "aspirations" for future."
